Spring

We have had quite the busy spring since Addison's arrival.   We had the McCutchan's up for a visit, and recently took the kids on a couple fun excursions to the local Touch-A-Truck event and a day at the farm.

Happy Mothers Day!

My first Mothers Day as a mother of three!

T-Ball

Logan started T-Ball this spring and has been having a blast playing on the local team.

7 weeks

Addison is 7 weeks old today and doing great! She just got over a little cold which made it difficult for her to sleep, but she is feeling much better and back to her usual relaxed self. She is really focusing on things now, holding her head up well, and starting to grab onto things. She has even started giving us some great smiles...Logan seems to have the magic touch when it comes to making Addison smile. We are still trying to capture one of her smiles on camera, but no luck yet...

Two weeks

Addison is doing great...growing well and a champion sleeper and eater.  She has given us a couple 6 hour stretches of sleep but usually goes for about 4 hours between feedings during the night.  Logan is very gentle with her and even told us once when she was crying that he was going to go get her "plug" to help her stop crying (he was referring to the pacifier).  Meredith tries to be gentle with Addison but is still a bit aggressive with her so we need to keep a close eye on her when she is around Addision.

Here are some recent pictures of the kids....

Welcome Addison Rose Sheely

At 8:04 this morning we welcomed Addison Rose Sheely to the world.  She is 8lbs 12ozs and 19in.  Both Mollie and Addison are doing great.

Here is our family tradition - the 6am parking lot self shot...

Paging Dr. Sheely... Dr. Sheely...

Here's the happy family and Mollie's first chance to meet Addison.  Thanks to Dr. Steve our anesthesiologist and official photographer.  He was apparently also part gypsy - after holding Addison for 5 seconds he guessed her exact weight.

Here's the beautiful girl after getting cleaned up a little.

And here is the first time we got to see Addison's bright eyes.

More pics to follow...
